JIM GILCHRIST FORMS NEW NON-PROFIT
MINUTEMAN ANNOUNCES COMPLETED SALE OF ASSETS
Jim Gilchrist is proud to announce the formation of Jim Gilchrist's
Minuteman Project, Inc. Since the successful formation of Minuteman
Project,
Inc. in 2005, hundreds of copycat organizations have been formed using
some
form of Minuteman in their cor****ate names. This has resulted in confusion
among the public and donors as to which organization is the original
cor****ation founded by Jim Gilchrist. These actions clear up any
ambiguity.
In addition, Minuteman Project, Inc. announces that it has sold
substantially all of its assets for full appraised value to Jim
Gilchrist's
Minuteman Project, Inc. Both are non-profit cor****ations formed under the
laws of Delaware.
Stephen Eichler, Executive Director of Minuteman Project, Inc., stated:
"In essence we have sold all the assets of the Minuteman Project, Inc.,
including all trade marks, donor lists, trade names and service marks such
as "Minuteman Project", the cor****ate name, websites, domain names, and
other intellectual property as well as assets such as desks, computers and
associated office equipment, at full appraised value to the new
cor****ation,
Jim Gilchrist's Minuteman Project, Inc. This will enable the new
cor****ation
to continue doing business as the Minuteman Project and prevent all others
from misappropriating the Minuteman Project name."
As announced previously, with the Orange County Superior Court's issuance
of
a preliminary injunction against former volunteers to not divert or spend
any of Minuteman Project, Inc.'s funds, Minuteman leader****p decided to
dismiss the action against the former volunteers and to focus on Jim
Gilchrist's critical mission of stopping illegal immigration and opposing
President Bush's amnesty to those who crossed our sovereign borders
illegally. The dismissal of the lawsuit by Minuteman Project, Inc. means
that Minuteman will save hundreds of thousands of dollars that would have
gone to legal fees and costs.
"It is far more im****tant to fight the amnesty bill, and to fight for the
pardon of unjustly imprisoned members of immigration law enforcement, than
to have the personal satisfaction of obtaining an uncollectible judgment,"
Jim Gilchrist said. "I can focus full time on the issue of illegal
immigration. It is a critical time for America; our beloved nation is in
peril and we could lose our sovereignty overnight."
