How to keep a Btrieve 5 legacy application retiring Netware?

by Marcelo Li Castro <marcelo.licastro@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Jun 19, 2007 at 02:14 PM

Hi everyone,

We have a very old legacy application, developed with Clipper and
Btrieve 5, which runs on ours Windows XP workstations, but has a
Netware NLM (btrieve.nlm) running server-side.

Our network evolved to be a Microsoft network, and this is the only
Netware server we have. I would like to know what are the options, if
any, to replace this server, which is also a very old hardware, with a
newer server, Windows-based.

Unfortunately, I know nothing about Btrieve. I=B4ve never had the chance
(or the need) to work with it, but I ended up to be the network admin
of this company. I just don=B4t know what would replace this Netware
NLM.

I=B4d appreciate your help.

Thanks,
Marcelo di Castro
