Btrieve over TCP/IP on DOS workstations

by Guy Dawson <gnues@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Jan 16, 2008 at 04:49 PM

Hi all,

Is there anyone out there who knows about running Btrieve over TCP/IP
on DOS workstations?

We have a half dozen legacy applications that are waiting to be
re-written. They currently run on DOS workstations using IPX.

The workstations have

   MS-DOS 6.22
   Novell Client 32 for DOS
   Btrieve BREQUEST requester

Looking around the internet I various allusions to running Novell LAN
workplace, TCP/IP and Btrieve not not much for Client32. I don't think
that the Novell LAN Workplace software is avaiable any more.

So, does anyone have any experice of using TCP/IP with Client32 and
Btrieve
in a DOS environment?

TIA!

Guy
