I just recently ran into this issue, maybe some of you are aware of it
already. It pertains only to Macs running OS X Leopard. Apparently
Mac versions of FMP prior to version 9 hang when trying to ex****t data
to MS Excel format. It'll ex****t to any format but XLS. FileMaker
says this is an incompatibility between FMP and Leopard which doesn't
exist in version 9. They finally came out with a fix for it, so if
anyone has run into this it can be solved. Use the link below for an
