OK -- the 9.0v3 server installer is supposed to work on Mac OSX 10.5.x
So, I uninstalled my previous 9.0v3 server (running under 10.4.11) --
upgraded my box to 10.5.2 and then reinstalled 9.0v3 server.
9.0v3 server opened all my databases. Fine.
However, the *backup* schedule is not seeing my "backups" directory --
the exact same *default* directory -- that was working under
10.4.11/FMS 9.0v3
The path is exactly the same as before:
filemac:/Server HD/Library/FileMaker Server/Data/Backups/
But the schedule app keeps saying this is "not a valid path".
The folder has the exact same permissions as does the "databases"
folder which is -- correctly -- opening my databases:
drwxrwxr-x 7 fmserver fmsadmin 238 Apr 12 19:31 .
drwxrwxr-x 20 fmserver fmsadmin 680 Apr 12 18:55 ..
-rw-rw-r--@[EMAIL PROTECTED]
1 fmserver fmsadmin 6148 Apr 12 20:10 .DS_Store
drwxrwxr-x@[EMAIL PROTECTED]
3 fmserver fmsadmin 102 Apr 12 20:10 Backups
drwxrwxr-x 35 fmserver fmsadmin 1190 Apr 12 19:22 Databases
drwxrwxr-x 2 fmserver fmsadmin 68 Jan 17 04:33 Scripts
drwxrwxr-x 2 fmserver fmsadmin 68 Apr 12 19:31 Test
Even if I create the "Test" directory above -- it's not saying that's a
valid path, either.
Anybody else seeing this? Suggestions?
Something about running this on 10.5.2 that's the issue?
