Hi!

With DB2 V9.5 (or earlier) Enterprise Server Edition you have the
possibility to
partition the database across multiple CPU's and or Servers. Thus DB2 can
run "dataware house questions" in parallell across the
partitions. Search DB2 do***entation for partitioned databases.
"Administration Guide Planning" has a good overview on the issue.
