TCPIP problem

by rajdb2 <vrajendrareddy@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Jul 14, 2008 at 06:39 AM

A batch job run from an informatica server is failing with the
following error when trying to connect to the prod database, but it
connects the second time when a retry is issued without any problems.

[IBM][CLI Driver] SQL30082N Attempt to establish connection failed
with security reason "24" ("USERNAME AND/OR PASSWORD INVALID").
SQLSTATE=08001

I am seeing the following error message in the diaglog when the above
error occurs.

2008-07-08-02.08.05.342102-240 I9156A381 LEVEL: Error
PID : 139264 TID : 1 PROC : db2tcpcm 0
INSTANCE: NODE : 000
FUNCTION: DB2 UDB, common communication, sqlcctcpconnmgr_child, probe:
105
MESSAGE : DIA3208E Error encountered in TCP/IP protocol sup****t. TCP/
IP
function "accept". Socket was "4". Errno was "72".

DB2 sup****t is not able to help in anyway and they think its an AIX
issue, but AIX and network groups dont see any issue. I would
appreciate any help in this matter.
