Isn't that a built in feature of IDS?
http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/db2/library/techarticle/dm-0801doe/
It used to be. It looks like it now comes standard with Enterprise =
Edition, must be purchased as an addition feature for Workgroup Edition =
and is not available in Express Edition.

Subject: TPC-E anyone?
Sorry if I'm being impatient, but I was *wondering* if/when we'll see =
any TPC-E benchmarking, that we've been hearing rumors about?
The latest from IBM was a TPC-C using DB2 v 9.5 which was done by the =
hardware folks to thumb their noses at HP. Of course HP responds with =
their latest benchmark, however while the total numbers were lower, the =
cost per transaction was much lower.
And they say that TPC-C is dead.
So what is it going to be?
And one has to ask... Will it be on a blade server, and if so, on the =
cell chip based blades? ;-)
This would kind of kill two birds with one stone. We'll get to see the =
cell in action along with IDS numbers that should shock the rest of the =
world.
But hey! What do I know? My client is just *now* switching to 10g, but =
are too cheap to pay for the ability to partition tables.
Isn't that a built in feature of IDS? (meaning all commercial =
versions?)
