Running IDS10.FC5 on AIX6.1 TL00
At different times during the day new connections to the Informix
engine hang. Either TCP or SHM.
A little history.
This instance was on a Windows environment when this problem first
started. Instance was migrated to a Solaris environment. The problem
followed.
As it did when we migrated to the current platform.
Have looked for
Locks
Long transactions
Global transactions
Disk errors
Memory errors
The server load is not high.
Once the event clears we get the following message in the online log
listener-thread: err = -25573: oserr = 72: errstr = : Network driver
cannot accept a connection on the ****t. System error = 72.
and or 951 or 952 errors.
