In terms of technology. But that wasn't the point of the post
I was responding to. The point was a claim that product A is
faster than product B.
All I am saying is that if raw speed is the criterion neither
the Oracle database nor Informix wins.
Anyone in this business should be knowledgeable enough to know
that raw speed is never the deciding criterion. Thus the near
relentless nonsense saying "but we're faster" may or may not
be true but it is certainly irrelevant.
Lotus 123 was always faster than Excel. The only place you'll
find it these days is in a museum.
