RE: Incorrect display of values in Form !!

by "karsagarwal@[EMAIL PROTECTED] " <karsagarwal@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Jul 2, 2008 at 01:16 PM

Hi,

I have an excel file that I link as a table to MS-Access 2003. In the
excel file I have a column called "Shape" with the following values:
805
603
402
603
1210
THRU
THRU
THRU

It is saved in text format in Excel and is also set as text in the
database. But for some reason it shows the values "THRU" correctly in
the form but for the numbers like 805,603,402 it shows up as "#NUM!"

Why is it doing that and how can I have it display the value for the
Shape field correctly. Its a bounded form and everything seems correct
except for this field.

Thanks,
SA
