I have recently developed a notation for Object-relational mapping
diagrams based on Hibernate and ActiveRecord approach to ORM and UML
class diagram and DSD for RDB tables.
And wrote an article about it.
This article is an intro, contains description of basic constructs and
three views.
Sections are:
- Problem - reasons to start the development
- Solution - main notation elements and views
- Tools - lack of tool for complex solution for UML, ER, ORM diagrams,
ArgoUML could be a base for complex solution
