Hyperion Essbase experience
This position acts as a team member of Systems Analyst responsible for
the operation and maintenance of the BI and BPM (Business Performance
Management) applications with a primary responsibility of
administering Hyperion Planning applications.
Defines, designs and implements business needs into solutions
Coordinates modifications with other application and infrastructure
teams
This is an on-call position (rotating schedule) and requires a means
of contact 24/7/365 while on call
Core Requirements
=B7 3-5 years experience preparing and delivering executive
level presentations, briefings, and business case development
=B7 2+ years developing / sup****ting Hyperion Essbase
applications
=B7 Experience implementing Hyperion Planning (creating and
managing planning applications, creating and maintaining web forms,
developing business rules, etc.)
=B7 In-depth knowledge and experience creating OLAP cubes using
Hyperion Essbase
=B7 Experience using Essbase BSO
=B7 Experience creating re****ts and dashboards through Hyperion
Re****ts and/or Hyperion Analyzer or equivalent Hyperion application
within System 9BI+
=B7 Experience using HAL or load rules
=B7 Excellent interpersonal / communication skills
=B7 Able to work independently and as part of a tem
=B7 4-year degree or equivalent experience
Desirable Requirements
=B7 EIS (Essbase Integration Services) or AIS (Analytic
Integration Services)
=B7 Writing MaxL scripts
=B7 Using Essbase ASO
=B7 Using ETL tools such as Informatica or DataStage
=B7 T-SQL or PL/SQL
=B7 Essbase partitioning and optimization
=B7 Strong understanding of data modeling concepts
=B7 2+ years developing / sup****ting Hyperion Planning or
Hyperion Pillar applications
