We currently have a full-time position open for a Hyperion
Administrator in NY City. The hiring company offers a stable,

* This position is responsible for managing Hyperion production, beta,
and disaster recovery environments
* Performing production maintenance activities for the Hyperion
applications on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis;
* Supporting the forecast and long-term planning cycles, and working
with end-users/clients;
* Managing hierarchy changes and updating substitution variables, calc
scripts, run time prompts, business rules, web forms and reports;
* Working closely with IT and the Hyperion Development
team;Functioning as a single point of contact for the clients on all
production related support and maintenance issues;
* Managing the disaster recovery and beta environments;
* Managing the migration process from production to disaster recovery
and beta environments, and keeping all three environments in synch;
* Managing all upgrades to the beta, production and disaster recovery
environments using processes documented and tested in the development
environment.
CORE QUALIFICATIONS
* 3+ years experience in a Business Intelligence environment;
* 2+ years experience administering Hyperion applications;
* 1+ years experience with Hyperion System 9;
* Some exposure to installing Hyperion software -- Essbase, Planning,
etc.;
* Very strong communication, interpersonal and writing skills;
* Able and experienced at interacting at all organizational levels
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
* Working in finance / accounting area;
* Experience with Oracle;
* General knowledge of Essbase API functionality;
* Some VBA experience
