Job Description: Oracle Data Warehouse Architect / Lead
Our Client, located in Greensboro, NC is in need of a Oracle Data
Warehouse Architect / Lead.
Job Responsibilities/ Duties:
„X The Data Warehouse Architect (DWA) leads all aspects of the
delivery of BI solutions & related components (data warehousing, data
management, and BI architectures and tools).
„X The DWA understands business challenges & translates them into
requirements/solutions.
„X DWA has strong tech architecture knowledge of ETL tools, data
staging techniques, metadata tools, and data base designs.
„X Works across business/technology teams to ensure alignment
between business sol. definition & systems architecture for the
organization.
„X This is a hands-on delivery role.
„X Preferred Candidates have at least 7+ yrs of BI implementation
experience within Oracle Technology (Oracle Warehouse Builder 9i above, we
use 10g R2).
„X At least 5 yrs technical architecture experience in Oracle BI
front end tools including re****ting, query, OLAP and Data Mining, or
equivalent tool set.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
„X Produce BI deliverables (re****ts, OLAP structures, models) that
sup****ts the organization¡¦s BI strategy
„X Collaborate with analysts and testers on deliverables and test
plans
„X Responsible to develop and deliver high level documentation for
BI Architecture and BI Projects
„X Partner with sup****t team to resolve issues experienced by our
users
„X Assist in developing Oracle Business Intelligence best practices
for our users
Required Qualifications/Skills:
„X Highly proficient with ETL development using Oracle Warehouse
Builder 10G R1.
„X Highly proficient with PL/SQL optimization, Indexing,
Partitioning.
„X Solid DW architecture concepts (Kimball, Star Schema, MOLAP,
ROLAP).
„X Knowledge of all phases of the software development lifecycle,
with an emphasis on requirements elicitation, documentation, and
communication.
„X Excellent analytical skills and good working knowledge of data
warehousing concepts and ETL
„X Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation
skills
„X Expert knowledge of re****ting and BI tools/applications
„X Ability to train and mentor junior team members in data warehouse
concepts and techniques
„X Solid time management skills

„X Basic Database administration using OEM
