The Position:
As a leading services provider, our client is committed to delivering
exceptional service through exceptional people. To this end, they are
seeking an experienced developer to join their Information Technology (IT)
team.
As a member of the IT team, you will:
Work in a team environment to deliver solutions to internal and external
stakeholders.
Specify detailed requirements and user interface designs, working directly
with key users.
Using the Scrum model of iterative development, plan increments of
functionality that can be implemented quickly.
Implement solutions using Oracle application development tools.
Participate in thorough quality assurance and deployment efforts.
Assist IT management and business stakeholders to identify areas for
further development and enhancements.
The Ideal Candidate will Have:
Minimum of two to three years experience in analysis, design, and
development of web based solutions.
Proficient in database programming and relational database design,
including re****ting, forms, queries (sql usage), tables, procedures and
modules.
Maintain and sup****t custom applications developed with Oracle Application
Express or equivalent.
Must understand and conceptualize applications from both a
technical/programming perspective and a business point of view.
Web development experience using HTML, Java, PHP, or similar tools is a
plus.
A college degree in computer science or another technical subject, or
equivalent experience.
Very good oral and written communication skills.
The experience and the desire to work in a fast-paced team environment
