We are looking for a contract Pick/Universe Programmer Analyst to
perform development as directed. This is not a project based need.

Central NH Manufacturer who has knowledge of Epicor ERP Software. The
person will be the lead IT person at this location and and will re****t
to an MIS manager remotely. There will be one network/sup****t person

* Must have knowledge of and experience using ERP software
(Avante preferred) for a medium sized business.
* Consults with management to analyze computer system needs
for management information and functional operations, to determine
scope and priorities of projects, and to discuss system capacity and
equipment acquisitions.
* Recommends and develops plans for systems development and
operations, hardware and software purchases, budget, and staffing.
* Manages the development, implementation, installation, and
operation of information and functional systems for the organization.
* Develops, implements, and monitors management information
systems policies and controls to ensure data accuracy, security, and
legal and regulatory compliance.
* Negotiates and contracts with consultants, technical
personnel, and vendors for servies and products.
* Provides sup****t to end users in the selection,
procurement, usage, and maintenance of software programs and hardware.
* Manages computer operation scheduling, backup, storage, and
retrieval functions.
* Reviews re****ts of computer and peripheral equipment
production, malfunction, and maintenance to determine costs and
impact, and address problems.
* Develops, maintains, and tests disaster recovery plans.
* Directly supervises one employee in the Information Systems
Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance
with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities
include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning,
assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding
disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
