Yes, I'm using compile.

I've now had a chance to try it on a third D3/NT system (7.2.x) and on
this one it works.

What's really odd is that this working box is one that we shut down
when we upgraded to a new box.  The new (non working) box has the
exact same version of D3/NT (as it was just a hardware upgrade) and
has the same data because it was /FILELOADed from the box that is now
(normally) shut down.

Got to love RD products. Grrrr.
