I have installed D3 7.5.3 Server (7.5.2 Server plus Service Pack 3) on
both Windows 2000 Pro and Windows XP/Pro. It is activated and I get
an "Enter your user id:" prompt and a "user password:" prompt on a
telnet connection from the D3 server.
But, my user name and password are rejected, even though they are
registered as a Windows User and as a member of the Administrators
Group.
I have NOT installed the 7.5.3 Client on the D3 server and don't know
if I need to install it to complete a telnet connection from wherever
the telnet client is located - ie on the D3 server and on any other PC
acting as a Client to D3.
I see no entries in the Event Viewer re: any rejection of the telnet
connection.
What am I missing here?
