Well ... is it legal?  or remotely ethical?  or basically just the
landscape of the micro-cap investor community?

That landscape has a background (or more appropriately, a wallpaper)
painted in the primary colors of hope and fear and framed in the size
of greed.  Bottom-feeder investors look for any hope to gain while
simultaneously fearing not buying in at the very bottom of a swing...
all in the delusion of 10, 100, or 1000x returns.  It usually doesn't
take much to land these fish.

I think it is im****tant to remember that the 'cor****ate-deciders'
should not be under estimated.  I always expect that much preparation
has occurred long before the lava starts to flow ... professionals
come in many custumes, but they are professionals ... and they can
cleave the heads of the unprepared without even blinking an eye.  The
naive public usually doesn't stand a chance against those odds - so,
again, Let the Buyer Beware.
