Copying Universe Data from Unix to Windows

by cbailiss@[EMAIL PROTECTED] Apr 22, 2008 at 05:35 AM

Hello,

I am trying to create a copy of a Universe environment. The data I am
copying currently resides in Universe hosted on HPUX 11. I am trying
to copy this into a new, empty Universe environment running under
Windows.

Is simply copying the files possible? Would using UV backup be
better?

Are there any special considerations such as converting the files from
Unix to windows, or are the Universe data files the same on Windows
and Unix?

Any advice on the best approach would be appreciated.

Thanks very much,

Chris
