Tool to convert MV data to XML?

I'm trying to evaluate the availability of a tool to convert Unidata data
to 
XML. Are these a dime a dozen? Or rare, requiring one to pay thru the nose

(which is really painful, especially quarters)?

I suppose I could roll my own, but I suspect there's enough of a learning 
curve to get a utility. I'm not sure yet if the requirement is a whole 
account or just a select number of files.
