A developer of medical devices in Pittsburgh needs a technical writer
to:

o. Create the do***entation layout for a new medical device

o. Do usability testing on the new layout and adjust as needed

o. Reformat existing information (written by the engineers) into the
new format



Requirements:

o. Experience creating FDA-compliant medical device do***entation
(Required)

o. Experience with doc plans, template design and usability testing
(Required)


Notes:

o. Work can be done from a home office, but you MUST be close enough
to Pittsburg to take regular, frequent, on-site meetings.

o. We don't know how long the project will take, so during the
interview you'll need to look at what they have and give a ball park
estimate of how much work is needed (a week? a month? six months?)

o. The next step will be to create a doc plan for the project
(billable hours) so you can give a more detailed estimate.

o. We don't have a published bill rate for this job, so please state
your 1099 bill rate when applying.
