EN-668 Senior Software Engineer - Irvine, CA - Staff
Location: Irvine, CA
Salary: BOE
A client in Irvine needs a Senior Software Engineer with extensive
experience with C++ programming, an understanding of client/server,
and kernel level concepts. An understanding of distributed software
models and web server architectures for product solutions are
required.
Responsibilities
=B7 Write and review design do***ents and functional specs.
=B7 Implement custom solutions from core product to satisfy customer
needs using C/C++, SQL and Java.
=B7 Fix re****ted bugs in product filter drivers and client/server
solution.
=B7 Debug and fix issues with customer implemented solutions.
=B7 Perform maintenance on current custom solutions.
=B7 Work with other developers and development teams to integrate
software modules into an overall product offering.
Requirements
o=2E 5+ years experience writing Windows Device Drivers (Required)
o=2E Strong ANSI C/C++ programming skills (Java a plus)
o=2E Experience developing multi-tier, multi-threaded client/server
solutions on Windows and/or Linux platforms (Required)
o=2E Solid experience with Windows XP and 2000 (Linux and Vista is a
plus)
o=2E Low-level operating system knowledge; specifically memory/resource
management, scheduling and process control, and I/O libraries
(Required)
o=2E Work with kernel level development tools, debuggers, etc. such as
DDK, and SoftICE (Required)
o=2E Experience with HTTP, TCP, and UDP protocols (Required)
o=2E Expertise in SQL data modeling a plus
o=2E Minimum of BSEE.CS or equivalent degree (Required)
