EN-669 Software Engineer Team Lead - Staff - Cleveland, OH
Salary: BOE
A company in Mayfield Heights needs a software engineer team lead to
develop PC-based system software and industrial control products.
In this position you will:
o. Gather and document system requirements from customers and business
analysts
o. Contribute to architectural design and independently develop system
designs
o. Develop and document OO code that satisfies the software design.
o. Develop and execute thorough unit test plans. Report, analyze,
debug and correct defect.
o. Integrate other components, solve problems across subsystems, and
produce final products.
o. Function as a go-to person for technology, software methodology or
other areas of expertise for junior programmers.
o. Be the technical lead of a small to mid-sized development team.
Requirements:
o. 5 to 7 years developing Windows-based OO software in C++ (Required)
o. Experience designing new features based on customer feedback and
needs analysis (Required)
o. Current experience as a team lead (Required)
o. Previous experience developing industrial control software a plus
Notes:
o. This is a team lead role---the client is specifically looking for
someone who is working as a lead developer and who enjoys mentoring
junior programs as a team lead.
o. The position is in a local division of a major software company
with lots of opportunity for advancement.
o. Multiple positions are open.
o. Relocation is available, but you must already be in the continental
U.S.
o. The client may be able to transfer existing H1 visas, but priority
will be given to US citizen or green card holders.
