A Translation Company in Torrance, CA needs a Localization Project
Coordinator to:
o. Allocate resources for each translation project
o. Manage resource allocation
o. Sup****t source content preparation and analysis
o. Track and communicate schedule tasks and changes
o. Execute QA related steps and processes for each project
Requirements:
o. 3+ years experience as a project coordinator or linguist at a
translation/localization company (Required)
o. Experience with translation management tools (Trados, SDLX)
(Required)
o. Experience with Desktop Publi****ng applications (Adobe Illustrator,
InDesign, QuarkXPress) and MS Office Suite (Required)
o. Experience with XML - many translation projects are in XML format
(required)
o. Mother tongue or native level in one of the following: Spanish
(Spain or Mexico), French (France or Canada) (Required)
o. Bachelor's Degree in Translation or equivalent experience
(Required). Equivalent experience includes project coordination for
translation agency, or in-house translator.
o. Auto industry related experience, i.e. Service Information Manual
translation, is a plus
