I think that most RDB aficionados are on the mailing list. Personally,
I like newsgroups, but many RDB aficionados are paid to be RDB
aficionados and work with Rdb mostly at work, from where there might not
be access to an NNTP server (and reading a newsgroup through a web
browser is worse than a mailing list).
Also, for some strange reason there are often posts here regarding
Microsoft examinations.
