downloading SQLremote

by "eeb4u@[EMAIL PROTECTED] " <eeb4u@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Feb 20, 2008 at 06:28 AM

Sorry for cross posting, I posted in wrong NG

I downloaded ASE 12.5.4 and installed. I updated with current EBF,
but need sqlremote.

I am trying to locate SQLRemote 7.0.4 or newer. I installed ASE
12.5.4 and EBF 14926 on my Linux ES 4 server. My intent is to set up
replication, but I cannot find the SQL remote files. I downloaded the
rpm, but it complains about missing dependancies:

rpm -i sybase-sqlremote-7.0.2-1.i386.rpm
error: Failed dependencies:
        sybase-common >= 12.5 is needed by sybase-
sqlremote-7.0.2-1.i386

Where can I get the sqlremote tar file and install it, or what should
I do to correct this, --nodeps on the rpm?

Second question, how can I obtain the DDL of the server I am trying to
copy? Can I use Sybase Central for this? It is a ASE 12.5.2 live
production database, with around 300G of data.
