dBKON Europe 2005 - Call for Papers
some days ago we informed you about dBKON Europe 2005 - The dBASE
Developers
and Users Conference.
Now we ask you to participate as a speaker.
We are interested in all kinds of topics ranging from dBASE over
Web-Programming to Databases. So you can see that there are nearly no
restrictions. If you have something that is interesting for the whole
audience, please send me a small abstract with estimated duration to dBKON
at DBASE-JOURNAL dot DE.
A session should be at least 45 minutes long. You should plan app. 30 - 35
minutes for the session and 10 - 15 minutes for discussions. If you have a
lot of material, we can make a double-session. We can arrange everything
ranging from 45 minutes to 120 minutes.
If you want to hold a workshop, okay - mail me your ideas.
Since this is a conference for people, we are not so formal as used by
other
organisations. You will receive our answer which papers will be presented
within the next 20 days. The complete material should be available 2 weeks
before conference, so that we have the needed time to compile and produce
the Conference CD.
If you mail me, we can tell you what allowance you get, which is depending
on your engagement.
with best regards from Germany
Hans-Peter Neuwirth
[dBKON-Team]
P.S. Our website (www.dbkon.org or .com) is updated this time. We hope the
English version is available on Saturday. It is rumoured that high ranking
persons from dBI will participate at dBKON Europe 2005. ;-)
