Yes, 7.0 is a 32-bit product. However, it is a departure from the 
previous versions.  It uses a different format so that dbf files created 
in 7.0 cannot be used in earlier versions or translated by those 
programs which take the old style dbfs.  I personally don't care for it. 
  If 4.0 does everything you want it to do, I think you'll be very happy 
with 5.5 (you can get the patch to 5.7 at dbase.com).
