Hi all,
I've recently inherited an ageing codebase database which is being
accessed via the codebase odbc client from a classic asp website
running in IIS 6. On a particular site this seems to be causing lots
(100+) of instances of the cb4odbc.exe process on the server machine
that is running the codebase server. The database is being accessed
over a lan and there doesn't appear to be any signs of connectivity
problems.
An upgrade to a newer version of codebase isn't really an option at
this time.
I've checked through what code I can and I haven't found anywhere as
yet where there are connections being left open.
Does anybody know of a likely cause for this?
Or some monitoring tool that I could use to help track down the source
of the problem?
Cheers!
Adrian.
