More details are needed to give you more information.
Are you using sql as your backend?
are you using tables?
are you using views? (local or remote)?

how will you handle conflicts if in multi user? (do you need to handle
them?)

I'd avoid an array -- if you're getting the data -- either use the data,
or push
the data into the fields (unbound) on the form.
