Browse has ALWAYS been a little screwy about devising its default window 
name as well as it's default caption. This goes back to Foxpro 1.0. I
remain 
convinced that Lisa (Slater) Nicholls is the only person on earth that
ever 
fully understood it.

If your BROWSE doesn't use either WINDOW or IN WINDOW clauses (which each 
have their own unique effects), then BROWSE will derive itself usually
from 
Wontop(). Usually. <g> When you ACTIVATE SCREEN, you take WONTOP() out of 
the picture. I can see that changing behavior.
