I may not read the answer for a day or two.  And even if it's only 3-4 
hours, I may have read 200 other messages in the meantime.  Do you 
really expect me to keep track of every single one?

I almost always end up reading what was being replied to before reading 
the response.  Unless, of course, there is nothing being replied to, in 
which case I don't even bother reading the response.

And if I do have to scroll down to the bottom and back up - guess what? 
  It isn't worth my time.

Your way is fine when you're only looking at your own posts.  But if you 
expect help, you need to go by what makes it easy for those helping you.
